WEEK 7 EOC: The Pitch

The Phileas Fogg chips that I am creating are originating from the country of Germany. I chose this country because it has a very active drinking crowd, therefore there will be a great demand for these chips since they are to be accompanied with alcoholic beverages. The flavor of my Phileas Fogg chips are Bratwurst and Oktoberfest beer. Bratwurst is a sausage usually composed of veal, pork, or beef. These chips are very salty/spicy like sausage and made from corn. They reminiscent of and actual bratwurst sausage. I chose a sausage flavor because this is a fattening food served often in authentic German restaurants. The fact that it is a fattening food is good because it will coat the stomach though the Bratwurst chips and make it harder for the body to absorb the alcohol... causing consumers to in turn drink more alcoholic beverages. I thought that the combination of world famous German beers being incorporated into the chips would be a positive thing too, in that it will remind the consumer of their desire for beers and want to partake in ordering an actual beer at the bar. These Phileas Fogg chips are obviously an adult snack and are to be consumed in general with the consumption of alcohol. I want to include an elaborate story on the packaging bag of the chips to describe the adventures of Phileas Fogg in the country of Germany and to bring about a funny story to find amusing when drunk or lightly drinking.

Adventure: The adventure in Germany is that of Phileas Fogg, he is visiting during the time that Germany hosts their annual Oktoberfest and as the people are drinking and getting little rowdy. Fogg gets some sort of a hard corn chip thrown toward his direction and he is so famish from all of his travels and also has been drinking so heavily at the Oktoberfest that he needs to have some food in his system. He eats the chip thrown his way and then becomes so in love with the German Sausage flavoring that he must find MORE!! He works his way through the crazy drunken crowds socializing and drinking brews after brews ...
