EOC Week 9: great mission statement

Our mission statement is to provide an ultimate bar food snack that will delight any stomach that needs a little food to go along with a night full of alcohol. In a package of Phineas chips there is an experience of culture in every bag and also a leap into another country for a moment. When you purchase a bag of Phineas chips you will also be donating in the fact that a portion of the proceeds goes to an issue related to that particular country. In the case of the Phineas German chips, these chips will go towards the Internationale Humanitäre Hilfsorganisation a humanitarian charity based in Germany.

Implementation Evaluation control

When I think of evaluation control I think of the question... How can a country (region, state, or city) tell the efficiency of its attempts to brand or re-brand itself and also how it can attract customers (investors, bankers, and traders)?
The German Phineas corn chips will use implementation evaluation control by branding itself correctly and attracting customers. Marketing strategy is an ongoing process of making decisions, implementing them, and monitoring their effective­ness over time. Strategic evaluation is way more demanding than planning. Evaluation and control are concerned with tracking perfor­mance and when necessary sometimes altering plans to keep performance on track.

Price

I am going to price this bag of chips at $3.99. I have come to this price conclusion because based off the price of drinks that will most likely accompany this snacking chip. I want the chips to be affordable, yet I also want my chips to be able to bring in enough revenue to produce a considerable profit and to bring in profitable proceeds to go to charities. I think with the consideration of the average price of drinks being 5-8 dollars, these chips will fit into that price point and be able to sell along side drink menu items of that price point.

Promotion


  1. To present information to consumers as well as others. I will do this by using forms of social media as well as advertisement in more traditional forms such as commercials and print. 
  2. To increase demand. I will increase demand by putting my snack chips in a large variety of bars in different demographics in many different cities.
  3. To differentiate a product. I will make my product different by the unique recipe and spices used. Making this product unique is easy because of the theme revolving around the chips and their story on the back of the packaging.

Distribution

Distribution is the process of making a product or service available for use or consumption by a consumer or business user, using direct means, or using indirect means. I want my product to go from manufacturer to retailer and then directly to consumer. The chips will be manufactured in the same factory and then shipped to the states on the west coast that my chips are sold in.
