When I think of evaluation control I think of the question... How can a country (region, state, or city) tell the efficiency of its attempts to brand or re-brand itself and also how it can attract customers (investors, bankers, and traders)?
The German Phineas corn chips will use implementation evaluation control by branding itself correctly and attracting customers. Marketing strategy is an ongoing process of making decisions, implementing them, and monitoring their effectiveness over time. Strategic evaluation is way more demanding than planning. Evaluation and control are concerned with tracking performance and when necessary sometimes altering plans to keep performance on track.
